Ingham Play & Learn Groups

INGHAM PLAY & LEARN GROUPS 

Winter 2023 Session Begins January 9 - March 24, 2023

Families may register for one (1) group; and one (1) waitlist only if the group of choice is full. 

Intended for children birth up to age 5 on a first-come, first-served basis for families residing in one of the twelve Ingham ISD School Districts (Dansville, East Lansing, Haslett, Holt, Lansing, Leslie, Mason, Okemos, Stockbridge, Waverly, Webberville, Williamston.) 

Groups are subject to change depending upon Covid conditions and inclement weather. 

About Ingham Play & Learn Groups (children birth up to age 5)

Join us for free, fun, interactive activities with trained Parent Educators using  the Parents As Teachers Model to provide:

  • Story Time
  • Music
  • Singing
  • Movement
  • Play Dough
  • Creative/Art Activities
  • Sensory Table
  • Exploration and Peer Interaction/Socialization

Sick Children

Please do not attend if you or your child have tested positive for Covid, been exposed to illness, exhibit any signs of illness such as the following within 24 hours prior to Group:
•     fever above 100ºF
•     vomiting
•     diarrhea
•     unidentified rash
•     discharge from the eyes and/or nose that is not clear

Siblings Over Age 5

Space is limited; please check with your Group Facilitator prior to bringing older siblings. 

Inclement Weather

If the school district where a group is held is closed due to inclement weather, then group (indoor and outdoor) is canceled for that day. If the temperature (with wind chill) is below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, then outdoor groups will be canceled for that day. Check with your group Facilitator for more information. 

Register for one (1) group per family and one (1) waitlist if your group of choice is full.   

Complete the Enrollment/Registration for the group you are interested in attending. Please read all information below: .

  • Groups are for children under age 5. Adults must accompany children at all times. 
  • Must register prior to attending a group.
  • Do not register for more than 1 group; list all children who will attend. 
  • Do not register for more than 1 waitlist; list all children who will attend. 
  • Waitlist families will be contacted when openings in groups occur.
  • Do not attend if you have been exposed to illness or exhibit any signs of illness.
