Mental Health Support Services

The Mental Health Support Services at Ingham ISD are designed to expand and enhance mental health support for K-12 students. These services are open to school districts, students and their families within the Ingham ISD service area. Our team also provides consultation and professional development related to mental health, wellness, and social emotional learning.

School-Based Behavioral Health Services

Ingham ISD provides therapeutic services to support students experiencing mild to moderate emotional or behavioral challenges. Licensed mental health therapists work within the school setting, offering individual, group, and family therapy to promote emotional well-being, build coping skills, and support success at school and home. Therapists also collaborate with educators to develop strategies and supports to foster positive outcomes for students.

Professional Learning

The Mental Health and Wellness program offers professional learning opportunities related to mental health, wellness, and social-emotional learning. Trainings offered include:

  • Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR)
  • PREPaRE Workshop 1 and 2
  • Youth Mental Health First Aid
