Common Calendar

P.A. 101 of 2007 mandated that, beginning with the 2008-09 school year, an intermediate school district, in cooperation with constituent districts, shall adopt a common school calendar which applies to all its constituent districts and to the intermediate district programs. The common calendar identifies winter and spring holiday breaks for the next five years, and this information must be posted on the intermediate school district website.

Ingham ISD Adopted Common Calendar Agreement

Board Approved: 

  1. Start date for students - the school year shall not start before Labor Day. Unless there is a Pre-Labor Day Waiver.
  2. The following days may be recognized and observed as holidays: New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
