Crisis Communication

Effective crisis communication is essential to maintaining trust, safety and clarity within our school community. In times of uncertainty or emergency, our district is committed to providing timely, accurate and transparent information to students, families, staff and community partners. We utilize multiple communication channels to ensure messages are accessible and consistent, helping everyone stay informed and prepared. By prioritizing clear communication and coordinated response, we aim to support the well-being of our schools and foster confidence in how we manage and navigate challenging situations together.

Depending on the situation, Ingham ISD will use the following forms of communication with staff and families through our School Messenger system: Email, Phone, Text. We may also post to our website or share on social media (again, based on the specific situation). Families and staff can assist us in being able to effectively communicate with them be ensuring that their current contact information (phone and email) is on file with the district.

If you have questions about Crisis Communications, please contact the Ingham ISD Public Relations and Communications.
