SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Perform electrical, communication, and controls maintenance of plant machines and equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical maintenance of all plant machines and equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform a wide range of general building and equipment maintenance, such as plumbing, general electrical, carpentry, sheet metal and fabrication design, and sheet metal repair work.
- Must be able to weld and use metal cutting equipment.
- Working knowledge of an array of industrial electronics and controls including but not limited to: relay logic and controls, automation interlocking, machine control circuits, sensors, switches, timers, wiring and ladder diagrams, sequencers, variable speed motor drives, servo controls, etc.
- Must be able to troubleshoot, program and communicate with PLC, robotic, HMI, and electrical systems within the facility.
- Safe working knowledge up to 480-volt 3 phase industrial plant electrical wiring and code requirements.
- Safe working knowledge and skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and a safe working knowledge of all electrical equipment and systems up to 480 volts.
- Install machine guarding and see that machines are lubricated and properly operational.
- Coordinate and/or perform equipment preventative maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions and breakdowns, recommend and initiate proper activity to repair.
- Disassemble, repair and rebuild electrical control units, mechanical units, mechanisms and machines.
- Utilize maintenance equipment (including but not limited to: saws, grinders, mills and CNC lathes, etc.) to perform machining duties as needed.
- Communicate with and utilize outside services and support as necessary to troubleshoot problems, provide project and maintenance assistance and offer technical resources.
- Support and assist other maintenance personnel as directed by department supervisor.
- Support and assist in training other maintenance personnel.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/ NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Detect and report unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Support and adhere to all applicable OSHA regulations and requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness of department floors and machinery.
- Qualify for a forklift driver’s license and a sky jack operator’s license.
- Follow all department policies and procedures; responds and performs all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills with all levels of employees and management.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Use personal safeguards for hands, ears, feet, and eyes as prescribed.
- Perform related and other duties assigned by Lead, Value Stream Team Leader, Value Stream Manager, Plant Manager, or any other individuals of authority within the facility.
- Required to participate in Parker’s “Lean” initiatives and improvement programs.
- Actively participates in and supports continuous improvement team activities and projects (i.e. High-Performance Teams, 10-step Problem Solving, 5-Why’s, Process audits, Corrective Action Requests, etc).
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Follows and supports Parker’s Employee Handbook, Values, and Code of Ethics.
- Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures in a manner that eliminates risk to health and the environment. Notify leadership of unsafe conditions or practices unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to leadership immediately.
- Participate in peer-based teams (i.e., Natural High-Performance Teams), and work with groups to initiate and implement programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2 year maintenance vocational training preferred
- Completed Handling Tool Operation & Programming (Fanuc class #J2P0310) preferred
- Completed SLC 500 and RSLogix 500 Maintenance and Troubleshooting (Rockwell Automation class #CCPS43preferred
Experience:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, operating, and maintenance manuals.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a maintenance position or applicable experience
- Experience in a manufacturing setting required
- 2 – 4 years of Allen Bradley PLC programming experience
- Siemens PLC programming preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The employee may be subject to:
- High noise levels from operating machines and equipment
- Skin exposure to oils, cutting fluids, and cleaning chemicals.
- Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine gages, prints, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action is required.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Welding and/or cutting tools flash, fumes, dust, and mist.
- Work in areas where safety equipment will be required (steel toe shoes, eye protection, hearing protection)
- Physical and electrical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.

Auto repair shop looking for entry level apprentice to learn automotive repairs. Duties to begin with will include completing oil changes. Rotating tires, installing head lamp bulbs, changing belts and hoses, general cleanup, and occasional yard maintenance. You will be working under an ASE Master Auto Tech and hopefully will be progressing soon into performing brake jobs and front end suspension and steering repairs. This position has the possibility to turn into a fully licensed mechanic for the state of Michigan. Training provided. 4 day work week. Holiday pay and uniforms after 30 days. PTO time after 180 days. Vacation pay after 1 year. This is a family operation where we treat our customers like family.

About the Job:
As a Security Officer at DK Security, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. Your duties will vary depending on the specific contract, offering a diverse and challenging work environment. Security officer duties include the following:
• Customer Service: Be a positive reflection of the company and yourself by assisting client staff, visitors, and coworkers, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Observe and Report: Stay alert and be on the lookout for any suspicious activities and incidents.
• Security Presence: Maintain a professional appearance and stand guard in and around building lobbies, reception areas, control centers, etc.
• Security Officer: Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of your assigned areas performing security officer duties as required.
• Access Control: Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas, check employee and vendor IDs, and follow proper access procedures.
• Safety Patrol: Ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors, enforcing the policies and procedures of the assigned location and reporting any safety concerns.
• Emergency Response: Be ready and able to assist in emergencies, including the administering of CPR/First Aid/AED care and communicating with emergency personnel using the proper protocols.
• Security Liaison: Maintain professional communication with the client staff, follow through with client requests, and keep the site supervisor/operations manager updated on all client communications.
• Control Center Operators are expected to be available for call ins 24/7.
• Other duties as assigned.
 Note: Current employees on active disciplinary probation are not eligible for this position and will not be considered. Employees who have been previously removed from the contract governing this position will not be considered. Previous employees who were on disciplinary probation at the time of separation will not be considered.
Minimum qualifications:
• Intermediate computer skills required – Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Email, Internet, and able to learn new software.• Must be at least 18 years old and have at least a high school diploma or equivalent education certification, such as a GED, per MCL 338.1067 §17(2). (Must also be at least 21 years old and be a Michigan CPL or LEOSA cardholder to perform armed security work).
• Must be able to pass a drug screening at the time of hire and randomly thereafter (including for marijuana). Since our company contracts with the federal government, we must comply to federal laws regarding the use of marijuana, regardless of whether it is used recreationally or medicinally.
• Must not have been convicted of any felonies, per MCL 338.1060 §10(1)(c).
• Must not have been convicted of any misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, unauthorized sale of information or evidence, controlled substances (including for marijuana), or two or more alcohol related offenses, per MCL 338.1060 §10(1)(c).
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk, including up and down stairs, for 8-12 hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. (Must be able to lift at least 70 lbs. for armed work).
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified (Child, Infant, and Adult), or willing to become certified and be physically capable of administering lifesaving care when needed.
• Must be able to see clearly at least 20 feet away (assisted with glasses or contact lenses if necessary).
• Must be able to hear conversations in loud environments either in-person or via radio.
• Must be able to use a smart mobile phone or computer to check emails and complete online training.
• Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be professional and possess excellent customer service skills.
• Must have excellent personal integrity and a positive attitude.
• Must complete required trainings on time and adhere to all client and company policies
