Auto repair shop looking for entry level apprentice to learn automotive repairs.  Duties to begin with will include completing oil changes. Rotating tires, installing head lamp bulbs, changing belts and hoses, general cleanup, and occasional yard maintenance.  You will be working under an ASE Master Auto Tech and hopefully will be progressing soon into performing brake jobs and front end suspension and steering repairs.  This position has the possibility to turn into a fully licensed mechanic for the state of Michigan.  Training provided. 4 day work week. Holiday pay and uniforms after 30 days. PTO time after 180 days. Vacation pay after 1 year. This is a family operation where we treat our customers like family.

• Leads and provides 1440 care.
• Will provide compassionate and competent care for residents by performing the following services:
• Bathing, showering and grooming assistance
• Assist residents at mealtime
• Provides wheelchair and walking escorts
• Provides toileting and incontinence care assistance
• Assistance with morning and bedtime routines
• Performs light upkeep of resident rooms
• Answers resident call signals
• Medication assistance/ administration
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with residents and their families.
• Provide timely and detailed information to your Wellness Leader regarding any changes to a resident’s needs or care.
• Ensures all resident care is provided to the highest standard and in a private and dignified manner.
• Respond in a timely manner to resident needs as observed, reported by staff, written communication, resident or family – Report to Wellness Director.
• Maintains appropriate and complete documentation per company policies.
• Input information into Electronic Medical Record.
• Available to work weekends and / or on call as necessary as assigned.
• Work toward continual improvement of the overall organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Initiates incident reports as needed.

Position Summary:
Elder Ridge Manor, an Adult Foster Care (AFC) home, is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Care Staff to support residents in a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment. AFC homes provide personalized care for adults who need assistance with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment when necessary
• Administer medications as directed and in accordance with AFC policies and training
• Prepare and serve meals, accommodating dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to management
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Follow all health, safety, and infection control guidelines
