Lansing, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder is joining President Donald Trump’s call to lower Michigan and U.S. flags to half-staff today through sunset on Friday, Oct. 6, in honor of the victims of the Las Vegas tragedy.

Gov. Rick Snyder lowers flags in honor of fallen MSP Trooper Timothy O’Neill

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder has ordered U.S. and Michigan flags to be lowered to half-staff on all state buildings and within the state Capitol complex on Tuesday, Sept. 26, in honor of Michigan State Police Trooper Timothy O’Neill, who died Wednesday, Sept. 20, while on duty.

Ingham ISD Renames Career Center the Wilson Talent Center

On Wednesday, August 30, Ingham Intermediate School District renamed the Capital Area Career Center, to the Wilson Talent Center, honoring former Ingham ISD Board of Education member, Rudy Wilson. A press conference and ribbon cutting ceremony were held to mark the occasion.
