 Birth to Five Collaborative & Partner Organizations

About

Birth to Five is a subcommittee of the Ingham Human Services Advisory Committee (HSAC)/ Power of We which is the multipurpose collaborative board for human service agencies in the Capital Area. Birth to Five is part of the Michigan's Great Start system, information about resources in Ingham and other counties is available at the Michigan Great Parents website.

Birth to Five Vision: Every child ready to succeed in school and life.

Birth to Five Mission: Every family has access to a universal, comprehensive, and collaborative spectrum of community-based early childhood programs, services, supports, and strategies.

The Birth to Five Subcommittee meets the third Wednesday of every month from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Ingham County Human Services building in conference rooms D & E. Agendas and meeting minutes can be found on Capital Area Community Voices website.

Several workgroups also meet monthly to address specific priorities in the County:
Literacy Coalition, Public Awareness, Safe Sleep/Infant Mortality, Quality Initiatives, Kindergarten Transition, Parent Education
