Collaborative Student Projects - Creating Authentic Learning
What are collaborative student projects?
A collaborative videoconference project gives teachers and students an opportunity to learn with another school or classroom. There are many projects on the Web that promote problem solving, multicultural education, and community involvement. In most cases, one teacher or organization serves as facilitator for a project. As the data is collected from the remote schools, the facilitator compiles it and disseminates the results.
What are the benefits of collaborative projects?
- Interaction with students in a variety of locations
- Utilizing problem-solving skills in the world outside the classroom
