Ingham ISD is also one of five partner sites for PROM/SE –Promoting Rigorous Outcomes in Mathematics and Science (www.promse.msu.edu), a National Science Foundation research initiative, with a goal of improving science and mathematics understandings for all students. The Ingham County school districts that have elected to participate in PROM/SE are: East Lansing, Haslett, Holt, Lansing, Leslie, Waverly, Webberville, and Williamston. Ingham ISD’s site coordinator, Marty Couretas (244-1246 or mcoureta@inghamisd.org), superintendent and curriculum staff is involved in advising PROM/SE activities and planning the professional development strand of the grant.
