This collegial network meets throughout the school year at Ingham ISD. The group is comprised of K-12 teachers who have building or district level responsibilities for mathematics education. Issues related to curriculum (Mathematics Grade Level Content Expectations and High School Content Expectations), instruction (problem-solving, learning whole number computation, etc.) and assessment are examined. Updates on state and national mathematics programs and policy are provided. Resources are featured throughout the year. Members are expected to serve as key communicators among colleagues. IMAT members also provide valuable advice regarding proposed professional development and curriculum opportunities that Ingham ISD seeks to offer. To join this group, call or e-mail Theron.
