2017 Summer Camps 

The Capital Area Career Center 2017 Summer Camps are for students entering grades 7 through 9. This four-day camp will be held at the Capital Area Career Center in Mason located at 611 Hagadorn Road in Mason. 

Dates:   June 19-22, 2017 (Monday through Thursday)
Times:  9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Location:  Capital Area Career Center, 611 Hagadorn Road, Mason, MI 48854
Cost:  $100 per camper (nonrefundable), lunch and all supplies included for. Students cannot register for individual days.

Camp Options Include:

CSI 101 - In this camp, students will learn how to take fingerprints, dust for prints at a crime scene and learn the ins and outs of Law Enforcement in this junior police academy.

Digital Arts Camp - Students will be exposed to digital design, digital photography, sound design or digital film. They will create, produce and develop projects based on their digital media interest.

Intro to BioScience - This camp is designed to allow students to explore bioscience. Students will use skills in biology and chemistry to solve a crime, make a biofuel and see if a food sample is safe to eat.

Motorheads Unite - Led by an automotive technology instructor, students will learn the ins and outs of a car motor while taking it apart and putting it back together.

Robotics Camp - Student will learn basic programming skills while working in groups to create a VEX robot to compete in their very own Mario Kart battle.
