Not sure where to start?
Come learn about different college/career options for students with disabilities, interact with college representatives, and tour the campus of LCC (9:30 & 10:30am). Hear from current students with disabilities and their parents about their experiences. Build your interview skills and participate in mock interviews.
- Colleges represented: Calvin College, Davenport University, Grand Rapids Community College-Noorthoek Academy, Hope College, Lansing Community College (LCC), Lawrence Technical University, Michigan Career and Technical Institute, Michigan State University, and Oakland University
- Community Partners represented: Capital Area College Access Network (CapCAN), Disability Network Capital Area, Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS), Peckham, Resolution Services Center, Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities (RCPD), and more!
- This event is designed for students with disabilities, grades 9-12, and parents/adult mentors.
- The workshops will feature a track for students/parents interested in a career path; a track for students/parents interested in two- and four-year colleges; and a track for students/parents interested in college for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (ID/DD).
