Tools and Resources for RtI Coaches
Elementary and Secondary RtI Coaches representing twelve (12) local education associations meet monthly to further the IISD RtI Initiative. Posted in this section are the tools and resources created by the coaches that support the indicators of the IISD RtI Action Plan.
Family and community involvement is encouraged at all levels. Students need additional support to ensure their success. Parents, families and care givers play a role by encouraging the completion of homework, involvement in planned interventions, activities their child is involved in and actively participating with their teachers and school districts in the success of their child’s educational outcome.
The process of solving problems with student achievement is used every day with students. The diagram below illustrates the process and how to put steps in place for student learning. The model is done at the student, classroom, grade, building and district level.
Fidelity of Process/Interventions
This website provides a series of fidelity checklists that are used with commonly utilized research based interventions.
The RtI Coaches Log provides a forum for documenting the roles of the coach.
The TLT (Teachers Learning Together) wiki has been created to support those secondary teachers engaged in the secondary literacy project.
