A two-week, half-day, dynamic academic program for students who are identified as having high abilities or interest in science. Students focus on inquiry-cased experiences with hands-on and applied learning.

ADMISSION: Demonstrated high potential for development in the sciences; letter of recommendation from principal, Gifted and Talented Coordinator or math teacher, and parent permission to participate

MASCOT (Mathematics Augmentation Series: Cultivating Optimal Teaching) is a three-week, half-day program designed to serve sixth and seventh-grade students who have been identified as having potential for learning advanced mathematics. Students focus on mathematical reasoning and problem-centered learning with irrational numbers, probability, intuitive algebra and computer-based geometric exploration.

DATES: June 26-July 14, 2017 (except July 3-4)
FEE: $260, partial scholarships available
ADMISSION: Academic potential as measured by standardized test scores, recommendation from Gifted and Talented Coordinator or math teacher, and parent permission to participate
