Playgroup Schedule
Great Parents, Great Start (GPGS) offers parent and child activities and developmental screenings for children birth through age five. GPGS also connects families to community resources, promotes school readiness, and supports high-quality, early education and care.

April 10 – June 30, 2017 

INGHAM PLAY & LEARN GROUPS offer FREE, fun, interactive activities for families to enjoy with their children ages birth to kindergarten entry. Trained Parent Educators provide Story Time, Music, Singing,   Movement, Play Dough, Creative/Art Activities, Sensory Table, Exploration and Peer Interaction.

Play & Learn Groups are for families residing in one of the following twelve Ingham Intermediate Service Area School Districts: Dansville, East Lansing, Haslett, Holt, Lansing, Leslie, Mason, Okemos, Stockbridge, Waverly, Webberville and Williamston. Registration is limited to one group per family, with the exception of the Outdoor Group at Fenner Nature Center.

Sick children

We ask that you do not bring children to Play & Learn Group if he/she (or you) experienced any of the following symptoms at any time during the previous 24 hours:
•     fever above 100ºF
•     vomiting
•     diarrhea
•     unidentified rash
•     discharge from the eyes and/or nose that is not clear

SIBLINGS OVER AGE 5

May not be able to attend some Play & Learn Groups due to the number of children and limited space. Please check with the Play & Learn Group facilitator prior to bringing children over age 5.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Your safety is important to us. If the school district in which a Play & Learn Group is scheduled has been closed due to inclement weather, Group will also be cancelled.  
Note: Outdoor Group at Fenner Nature Center will not be held if the temperature is below 30ºF, during weather advisories, thunderstorms, tornado warnings/watches, etc. 

For more information or to register for any of the Ingham Play & Learn Groups, call 517.244.1267.  You will be asked to provide the name of the child, the name of a parent or guardian, a contact number, and the name of the Play & Learn Group you would like to attend.  Register early, as sessions fill quickly!
