Interested in becoming a 2016-17 Arts Integration Focus School?
Schools served by Ingham ISD and the MSU FCU Institute for Arts & Creativity are eligible to become Arts Integration Focus Schools. These schools identify a team including: the building administrator, at least one arts specialist/teacher and some number of classroom teachers who engage in professional learning and, plan, implement and evaluate arts integrated curriculum, instruction and assessment. - Engages in professional learning and planning during the Arts Integration Summer Institute,
- Implement their plans throughout the academic year, contributing to and receiving support through an Arts-Integration Professional Learning Community,
- Host a guest artist for a classroom residency (and attend a workshop designed for teachers with the guest artist),
- Report and showcase the results of their effort in an annual report and during a day-long showcase event in the spring.

Identify your building team and schedule an afterschool meeting in Spring 2016 with the Institute for Arts & Creativity Director and the Ingham ISD Arts-related & Integrated Professional Learning Coordinator to meet with your team to describe the program and answer questions.
Complete and return the 2016-17 Arts Integration Focus School Agreement (this form requires the signatures of your team members and indicates they will commit to full participation - Summer Institute, AI Professional Learning Community, teacher workshop, reporting).
